Work With What You Got
When you can't use dirt, use the next best thing, ice. Built this little beauty over the past couple of weeks. Wanted it to be a good jump to learn new tricks on but I got a little excited and made the lip a little steep. Still a sick jump, just a little scary. Riding into it is the hardest part. Landing=Beer Pong Table. I'll put up some video when i get some.

Unfortunate News
The Burlington DJ's, better known as the Staple Jumps to some are on their way out.
Driving onto the highway today, I saw that all the trees has been cleared and the jumps are doomed to eminent destruction.
Many big names have ridden the trails, and countless hours by UVM students made the trails a great spot to ride.
I myself have only been there a handful of times, but each one was a great time.
The loss of these jumps will leave a large hole in the scene, but hopefully a new spot will spring up this summer.
'Till then, it is Stowe or your backyard!

Fantasy DH League
I was going to get on this, but it is all filled up.

The "R" in the name is indicative of what the rail does for the suspension: it deals with compression ratios, allowing Yeti to fine tune how/when the shock ramps up, and whether it is linear or progressive and so on. Other wise, it is a tradition single pivot design and wheel path (the twin rails on the 303 are what give it a unique wheel path and handling characteristics. It looks sick. You can be sure that this bike will be around this season on all levels of racing.

My New Toy!
I have finally accomplished a long time dream of mine . . I bought a dirt bike! I got a pretty sweet deal on a new '08 Honda CRF 150R . . little bike, lots of power!! Come April riding in the woods will be completely new experience. The only thing I need is a little trailer for the Subaru - if any of you have one or know someone who has one for sale let me know!!!
