Drummer Times

got a :56 something on butter/clay and smoked the new berm and the berm above doug's gaper rock scary back seat style x2 . c clay is getting seriously thrashed this spring. got a :58 somethingon edge which is also showing some age and making it nasty. 1:29.00 on threader :31 on powerlines??? soft tires soft ground no pedal. c'mon stopped by Andy's Cycle . Got a much needed spoke wrench. takled to skull crusher a bit. DTM 's order is officially in and will be distrubted accordingly.

The Clay Corner Challenge

I propose a challenge as a subdivision of the Drummer Racing Series.... In the hopes that Zach will be willing to donate his freelap system periodically, we will put the sticks in the exact same place every time and record times down the notorious Clay Corner. We will have a leader board of the fastest times, and the current leader at any given time will hold bragging rights or potentially some other sort of reward (ideas?). Fastest times (unofficial non-freelap) have been in the very low 56's, myself posting a 56:00 in my unofficial re-run at the race two sundays ago (no big deal). I plan on laying down a blistering sub 56 time this weekend when Zach comes, I dare anyone to challenge it.

xc laps

rode some fresh and old school single track out in goose pond with steve riccio today. steve is still pinned on his 29er. platty work day was awesome platty ride day was wet but still awesome. we stuck to the same things we raked poked around the GRT track and talked about the benefits of bacon and beer can more xc on scummer followed by more dh this weekend @ platty.

New Laps

EA Dh lap is down to 00:35 something it was around 39 or 38 last spring. trees dont move and time doesn't lie. Marathon Pump Track Lap is 1:08 fastest track lap is 19:something still.

Tough Call

I will not be able to attend the race this weekend. I have multiple projects due next week and it is highly unlikely that I will be able to finish them before this weekend. I just have too much on my plate to not do work this weekend. Have fun out there, roost a corner for me.

Changes

Race Prep

Getting on the hill sprints yesterday and today. Saxon yesterday with Mr. D Trump on the SX (ballin' good time) and Main Street Today. True story: put the power down so hard I passed 3 cars going up...this is not a joke. Sam and I both have Dirt Mag teams, you all should get on it too. Why not? I signed up for a team. (Yes, I was that bored today). Not saying who I have, you'll just have to wait until the teams are officially posted. We all should get in on this and do something cool for final prizes. Like our race series...only not actually real. DO IT.

Dreaming

I was dreaming about racing last night. Some serious REM dreaming. Dirt, wheels, frustrations...it was like the dream about having a test for school, but awesome. Nervous but excited right now. Typing this from my Marketing class. Can't sit still. I wanna go riiiiide. Getcha Race Face working: It's SHOW TIME!!!!

Pump Track Times

digging is done riding is far from over fastest time is a 00:20.85 i think. marathon lap is 00:59 we dug some screen door berms on clay corners saturday night hopefully they will hold up.
